Kip Myers first met Judy Pursley in 2001 while working on the film Riding In Cars With Boys. Rosemary Phiri had recently moved to Malawi to teach Leadership, and Judy was the one who convinced Kip to visit her. During that trip, when he met his little brothers for the first time, Kip became inspired to help others in Malawi by forming WE ARE ONE. Through the years, Judy has been a gracious and supportive friend to Kip, Rosemary and the children of Malawi, as well as a donor, fundraiser, and cheerleader. Every year at Christmas, Judy gave a little extra so that each adopted boy could receive a special gift.
Judy left us in November 2013, but her generous spirit lives on through her family and friends' wish for others to donate to WE ARE ONE in her honor. Please click the donate link to see how you can give online or via check.

Malawi's children are falling through cracks in the faulty academic system. In one of the poorest countries in the world, children are compelled to pay for their own education beyond middle schoolincluding books and compulsory uniforms. Only 33% of all eligible students can afford to attend secondary school. WE ARE ONE malawi aims to guarantee secondary education for our 12 orphans first, then address the larger community's needs.
