Camp Malawi - Thank you, EVERYONE!

We are constantly getting positive feedback from the children, teachers and other adults about how grateful they are for everything that was done at Camp Malawi.
Mrs. Mwase, the owner of Wukani Educational Facility, has shared how they have used the globe and sports equipment and how much the backpacks were appreciated by the students and their families. She said that everyone there has been motivated to rise to another level of education because of the role-modeling of the Americans.
First-time teacher Kip teaches Leadership/Ethics while Wukani principal Hosea listens in.
Being an educator myself, I was amazed at how natural all of the "non-teachers" were. They did such an excellent job of sharing their passion and creating activities where true lifelong learning could take place.

Dear Rosemary,
You will remember me from Chicago - a good friend of Debi...Debi forwarded your site to me - you are doing wonderful things with your husband! Being an educator myself, I truly believe in the value of education too...congratulations once again! hope to be able to volunteer one day too in Malawi...
All the best,

"Rosemary, hello!"--a voice from your childhood!
I've been searching for you and finally came up the article by Lesley Stahl. What a beautiful testimony & love story (I'm not surprised--I remember those stories about African missionary life, too). I would love to get reaquainted, it's been a few years since our walks to and from school and long phone conversations following (148 & 77).
I am married to an architect who was born in England and finished school in the USA. We live in Colorado and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
I kept looking for you in Lee's Summit, MO (my children live there), but of course you weren't there.
I hope you receive this.
More to follow--
With best wishes and much admiration, Trish Kleine
